using a Bitcoin node

ok noob question here so I don't know if it even makes sense.

I have a node running on one of my machines, forwarded the port and it appears to pick up 17 connections.

If I run python code on another machine to query the blockchain, how can I make use of my node? Do I have to specifically point to it? Do I even need to?

thanks, just experimenting. Which is the best library to use to query the blockchain with python?

When you make the rpc connection you usually use Instead just replace that IP with the network IP of the computer running the node. What are you making?
